Cardiovascular Surgery Department
In our Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic, surgical treatment of adult cardiovascular diseases are coronary heart disease, heart valve disease, aortic and major vascular diseases, coronary artery, chronic arterial diseases, varicose veins, fulcrum operations for dialysis are performed. In our clinic also congenital cardiovascular surgical treatments as congenital heart hole, stenosis, major vessel anomalies are performed.
Echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transesophagy, treadmill test, holter monitorization methods are used for the diagnosis of cardiac diseases and coronary artery CT angiography with 128 sections is preferred for diagnosis of coronary artery diseases.
We have a coronary intensive care unit operating 7/24 hours for our patients.
We can intervene successfully in cases of acute myocardial infarction and acute stroke in our angiology laboratory.
In our adult cardiology department; hypertension, rheumatic heart-valve diseases, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure, such as diagnosis, treatment and follow-up are done.
A broad range of Pediatric and Adult Cardiac (Heart) Surgeries and all kinds of Interventional Cardiology Surgeries are performed by surgeons with high success rates in Turkey.
Avcilar Hospital performed 634 Cardiovascular Surgeries in 2017. Coronary angioplasty and stent cases, by-pass surgeries are offered through non-invasive high tech diagnosing procedures including Electrocardiography (ECG), eco-cardiography, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
We treat patients with coronary artery disease, who have coronary artery blockage in multiple vessels, who are high risk (have other medical conditions, reoperations, or poor heart function), who have more than one type of heart disease (such as valve disease, atrial fibrillation) and need multiple treatments during heart surgery, who have had prior treatment for CAD, such as CABG, angioplasty and stents.

Obstruction and narrowing of the coronary arteries caused by Arteriosclerosis may be diagnosed by high diagnostic safety. Furthermore, percutaneous coronary interventions (stenting and balloon angioplasty) are also successfully performed in AVCİLAR HOSPİTAL. Also, we are able to detection arrhythmia by using special devices. In our clinic, we are using Artis One Machine by designated Siemens cooperation. SLEEVE GASTRECTOMY
The objective of this method is to decrease stomach volume (about 60-100cc) to enable the feeling of satiety with small amounts of food intake. With this objective, a certain segment of the stomach is removed by surgical procedure, leaving intact a tube-shaped stomach about the size of a banana. The patient feels no hunger as the segment of stomach secreting the hunger hormone is also removed. This operation limits only the amount of food intake: There is no need for the patient to take supplementary vitamin or minerals as food absorption continues in the same way.How is the surgery performed?
Tube gastrectomies also are performed by laparoscopic methods. The operation is done by entering the abdominal cavity through small incisions.
The Post-Operation Period
After surgery, by consuming food in small volumes, the patient feels satisfied easily, this feeling of satiety transforming into a loss of appetite. Total food intake is decreased significantly and within a few years of surgery, 80-90% of the excess weight is lost.

Nucleoplasty is performed by laser method in waist and neck hernia operations. The operation is performed by local anesthesia under continuous C-arm imaging in operating room conditions.
