OPTIK-MED Laser Center

The OPTIK-MED Laser Eye Centre is one of the busiest laser centres in Europe. This gives our doctors the opportunity to participate in the programme of scientific collaboration between the two largest laser manufacturers (Europe and USA) and end-users.

During the last three years we have gradually developed our own regional network (Gyor, Sopron, Szombathely, Szekesfehervar, Zalaegerszeg, Miskolc etc.). The ophthalmological out-patient departments in these locations follow the same procedures as those used in our clinic. Our main aim was to reduce unnecessary travelling.

Our laser centre is specialised. Apart from the excimer laser treatment we do not perform any other kind of intervention. Developments in ophthalmology are faster than in any other branches of medicine and it is impossible for a private clinic to ensure high standards in every area. When we founded OPTIC-MED, therefore, we decided that we would be the first in Hungary to create a special centre where we would devote all our energy and experience to the successful correction of refractive errors.

Eye specialists throughout Hungary are regularly informed about our results and experience. We enjoy their support and many of them personally recommend the laser treatment of OPTIK-MED. We have minimised waiting times for our patients. The ever-increasing monthly number of treatments requires more and more examinations. To meet these demands, we have enlarged our clinic by a new floor level.
