Bangkok Hospital Phuket - Overview
Bangkok Hospital Phuket was established in 1995. The hospital provides services to Thai locals, and for the past years of its operation and continuous development, it is constantly serving medical tourists from all over the world.
The hospital has a 200 in-patient bed capacity. It is a multi-specialty tertiary hospital serving Thailand’s southern region. It presently has 12 regional centers of excellence which includes the Phuket Heart Center and Phuket Aesthetic Center to name a few. The hospital has over 50 full-time physicians from different areas of Medicine and 75 more on a consulting basis. All its medical staff and employees undergo continuing education to enhance and improve the quality of care provided.
The Bangkok Hospital Phuket is the first private hospital in the country to earn the ISO 9002 and ISO 9001:2000 accreditations. It has also received the Hospital Accreditation in 2004 and 2008. In 2003 and 2004, it received the Superbrands Award Thailand and the Prime Minister’s Export Award for Best Service Provider respectively.
Its Dental Center has also earned the Hospital Accreditation Certificate. It provides various services from the different fields of dentistry, including: ceramic inlays and on lays, tooth whitening, porcelain veneers, dental implants, crowns and bridges, dentures, root canal, orthodontics, and oral and maxillo-facial surgery. The Dental Center is opened 7 days a week.
