Hospital Almater began providing healthcare services in 1985 and has continued its activities with the help of state of the art technology and the assistance and support of the community. It is the premier private hospital in its region covering various medical specialties. The hospital is an open system institution but patients are assured that staff credentials are carefully reviewed by a Certifications Board and all doctors are accredited with compliant courses and exams.

Hospital Almater has services available round the clock for medical emergencies. The hospital has permanent doctors at service; 12 family doctors and another 12 pediatricians. Over 60 specialists complement the system.

There are 48 rooms in the hospitalization area, 8 beds in the Intensive Care Unit, 2 stations at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and other added technologies to cover various medical needs. Rooms each have oxygen and suction installations. Each are appointed as well with television sets and a phone for the patient/s’ comfort and convenience. The pharmacy on site is open 24 hours a day, year round. It is also available for drive thru service. Hospital Almater has plans for further expansion.
