What is LipoDissolve?
LipoDissolve is a recent non-surgical innovation designed to dissolve fat through injections of medications into the mesoderm, the fat and tissue layer under the skin. LipoDissolve is a form of mesotherapy, which is a medical specialty developed in France in 1952 and used to treat a large number of conditions. LipoDissolve is specifically used to melt fat from problematic areas and can be used to reduce cellulite and treat the signs of skin aging anywhere on the body.
How is LipoDissolve carried out?
The drugs most commonly used in LipoDissolve procedures are phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholate. These medications along with other substances like vitamins, minerals, plant extracts and herbs are injected into the layer of tissue just below the skin with a fine needle. Experts believe the fat is broken down by chemical reaction and either migrates to other areas of the body or is excreted.
