Computer Navigated Total Knee Replacement + Rapid Recovery

Computer-assisted total knee replacement is a procedure that utilizes sophisticated computer imaging to assure the highest level of precision during the surgery. With the aid of a real time infrared based tracking system, we can achieve virtually perfect alignment and soft tissue balance, the two most critical components of a successful knee arthroplasty (improved functional outcome and an increased long-term survival of the prosthesis).

Other advantages of robotic-assisted knee surgery are: smaller scars, less bone resection, reduction in blood loss, increased safety, less soft tissue damage, shorter hospital stay and faster recovery.

Complications associated with navigation technique are rare (related to pin tracks).
