Head of the Division of Cardiac Surgery at Quirónsalud Madrid University Hospital since 2006. He counts on an experience of more than 12 years in public and private hospitals. Currently he is also Chief of Cardiac Surgery at Puerta de Hierro Hospital, where he coordinates the Marfan’s Syndrome Unit. He also worked during 8 years at International M.D. Anderson Centre in Madrid (Spain).
He has been the surgeon responsible for more than 4,500 major cardiac surgery with extracorporeal circulation. He is the surgeon responsible for more than 350 aortic valve repair surgeries, more than 500 aortic root and aortic arch aneurysm surgeries, and more than 1,000 coronary surgeries without extracorporeal circulation. |
