Dr. Malik is very involved in the cooperation in medical and surgical projects of Health Improvement, and collaborates with several solidarity projects of reconstructive surgery, especially with the Operation Walk Foundation and NED Foundation.

He has a degree in Medicine by the University of Navarra, post specialization in orthopaedic surgery by Vall de Hebron Hospital in Barcelona and a Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery by the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Dr. Malik is a certified fellow with USMLE certification at Hospital for Special Surgery, Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, also at Dorr Arthritis Institute, Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center in Los Angeles and an international fellow at College of Surgeons of East, Central and South Africa. Currently he is also a part time consultant in Sports Injuries at the Catalan Football Federation. |

Dr. Malik has more than 15 years of experience and extensive training in the United States, Spain and Kenya. Specifically, he is a great expert in reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee in adults, both prosthetic and arthroscopic. Also in minimally invasive surgery and anatomical deformities in patients with osteoarthritis. He has a teaching position at the University Hospital Sagrat Cor with students in medicine and physiotherapy and residents of family medicine and orthopedic surgery. |

Dr Malik has conducted more than 30 international presentations in the US, Canada, Kenya, Mexico, Tanzania, Vietnam, Zanzibar etc, delivered over 20 presentations in national conference meetings, written 16 publications, 5 book chapters and he also holds various professional recognitions and research program awards, the latest being the International Travelling Fellowship Mayo Clinic Miguel Cabanela-SECOT. |
