Dr. Arroyo is head of the Neurology Department at the Quirónsalud Madrid University Hospital and the Ruber Juan Bravo Hospital since 2006. Under his direction, 35 professionals (neurologists, neurophysiologists, child neurologists and neuropsychologists, nurses and coordinators of investigation).
From the teaching point of view, he is Professor of Medicine in the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences of the European University of Madrid and is in possession of the National Accreditation as Professor in Health Sciences (granted by ANECA).
In his research aspect, he stands out as the main investigator of 100 national and international clinical trials. 7 FIS research projects of the Carlos III Health Institute (the last 5 as Principal Investigator). 10 projects of private Foundations obtained in competitive calls (7 as Principal Investigator). He has written 139 international articles with a total impact factor of 949,917 and 4,552 citations. 38 books and book chapters.
