He has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Madrid Complutense University, specialising in neurosurgery at the San
Carlos Clinical Hospital in Madrid.
Since August 2004 he is associate specialist in neurosurgery at the Montpellier University Hospital Centre (France) and
assistant professor in anatomy at the Monpellier Medicine Faculty (associate Clinical Head). He is a specialist in treating brain
tumours that includes brain tumour surgery while the patient is awake to avoid speech sequelae. He also performs surgery for
