Prof. Bergman directs the Department of Dermatology, and the Dermatopathology Service at the Department of Pathology. His major interests include dermatopathology and clinical aspects of: pigmented lesions, cutaneous lymphomas, genetic skin diseases, Kaposi Sarcoma and pediatric dermatology.
He has initiated a molecular dermatology laboratory within the Department of Dermatology which deals primarily with genetic skin diseases. Prof. Bergman is an author of over 150 scientific articles, several book chapters and serves on the editorial board of three major dermatology and dermatopathology journals. |

Professor Reuven Bergman is a graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University, and of the Department of Dermatology, Rambam Medical Center. He was also trained in Dermatopathology at New York University Medical Center; in cutaneous lymphomas at the Mayo Clinics, Rochester, Minnesota; and in early detection of melanoma at the University of Sydney, Australia. Additional training includes immunofluorescence microscopy and electron-microscopy. |
