About	In 1998 he was sent for a fellowship in Gyn-Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During the years 2000-2006 Dr. Amit served as Deputy Director of the Ob-Gyn Department. Since 2006 he has served as Head of the Gynecologic-Oncology Division. He is responsible for medical and surgical treatment of cervical, endometrial and ovarian cancer and complex pelvic surgery. Among his other responsibilities, Dr. Amit teaches medical students and residents, and he has written over 20 scientific articles and presented his research in international meetings.
Education	Dr. Amit graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rambam Medical Center.
