Dr. Drumea graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the U.M.F. Iasi, Romania and completed her residency in Oncology in the Department of Oncology at Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa, Israel. Between 1998 and 1999 she was appointed research scholar in the Radiation Oncology Department – Radiobiology Unit at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, U.S.A., working in the area of Ataxia-Telangiectasia Mutated gene in breast cancer radiosensitivity. |
Professional Experience

Dr. Drumea conducted and contributed to a significant number of breast cancer clinical trials. Her teaching experience includes courses to medical students and residents in Oncology. Dr. Drumea's activity in the basic and clinical research materialized in numerous manuscripts published in peer-reviewed medical journals, active participation in numerous international conferences with abstracts and invited lectures in Israel and United States. Dr. Karen Drumea's major area of interest is diagnosis, research and treatment of breast cancer. |
