Education Dr. Ofran graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University at Hadassah Hospital, Jerusalem, Israel. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital and a clinical Fellowship in Hematology and Stem Cell Transplantation at Rambam Health Care Campus. Dr. Ofran spent two and a half years as a post doctoral research scholar at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard University Cancer Vaccine Center in Boston, Massachusetts under the supervision of Dr. Jerome Ritz.
Professional Experience Dr. Ofran is a senior Hematologist at the Department of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa, Israel. He is a clinical lecturer in Hematology at the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa. Dr. Ofran has actively participated in a wide range of clinical and basic research projects and initiatives. His main research interest is in diagnosis and management of leukemia, focusing on molecular and genetic characterization of leukemic clones and the immunological response to them. In 2011 Dr. Ofran received a "Morasha" young clinical investigator grant from the Israeli Science Foundation.
