- He performed the first ever robotic spine neurosurgery in 2021; in the State of Oregon, U.S.A. - He is the first and only double residency and double fellowship trained neurosurgeon in the state of Oregon and one of the few in the U.S.A. - Dr. Berk has clinical expertise in the surgical treatment of all complex neurosurgical problems with special focus on functional neurosurgery and image guided minimally invasive spine surgery: Surgical treatment of all complex neurosurgical problems, including brain tumors, spine surgery, movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, Essential tremor, Dystonia, Chronic pain, Spinal cord stimulation, Deep Brain stimulation, Trigeminal Neuralgia and facial pain, Chiari malformation and Epilepsy Surgery.
