About

Orhan Agcaoglu M. D. was born in 1984, Istanbul. He graduated from Kadikoy Anatolian High School in 2002 and Yeditepe University School of Medicine in 2008. He finished his General Surgery Residency at Istanbul University Istanbul School of Medicine in 2014. In 2011, he worked at Cleveland Clinic, Department of General Surgery, Division of Endocrine Surgery and Robotics as a Research Fellow for one year. Between 2014 – 2016, he finished his mandatory government work at Igdir Public Hospital. In 2016, he has been to University of Helsinki, Department of Oncoplastic Breast Surgery and Ege University, Department of General Surgery, Division of Endocrine Surgery as an observer. Dr. Agcaoglu has more than 50 papers that published in International peer-reviewed journals. Having passed the exam and completed the requirements of the European Board of Endocrine Surgery (Neck Endocrine), he has been acknowledged as a “Fellow” of the European Board in 2017. His surgical interests include; breast surgery (oncoplastic and breast conserving techniques), endocrine surgery (minimally invasive and robotic, thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal surgery), and Laparoscopic and robotic groin hernia surgery. He has been working at Koç University Hospital since April 2016. |
