Thomson Medical Center (TMC)

The Thomson Medical Center (TMC) is a healthcare service provider since 1979. It was formerly named as the Damansara Fertility Centre, and as the name stands for, TMC’s medical services focus on the specialties in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and as well as Pediatrics, encompassing a full range of services including medical, surgical, therapeutic, diagnostic, preventive and specialized services such as fertility treatment. The hospital mainly services women and children.
Thomson has a variety of room types to offer, from VIP suites to 4-bed rooms that are available for a night of more of stay in the hospital. TMC also provides for day cases. There are pediatric rooms as well that can accommodate singly, or by twos. Accommodations for the patient’s companion are also available.

TMC services foreign women and children patients as well, and the hospital actually has an international patient centre to better address the needs of the foreign patients. TMC’s international services include medical referrals, flight arrangements, Visa arrangements, and language interpretation services, among many other services that foreigners would need assistance with from the start of their medical journey until they are safe back home.

TMC is located at 339 Thomson Road and can be easily reached by bus and/or MRT.
