Mount Elizabeth Hospital - Overview
Mount Elizabeth Hospital is a Parkway Health Hospital, which is a private healthcare organization that operates various hospitals and medical centers in many parts of Asia, including Singapore, Brunei, China, India and Malaysia.
Mount Elizabeth specializes in providing cardiac surgeries and neurosurgeries, as well as other tertiary healthcare services. Mount Elizabeth is the first hospital in the region to house a private cancer centre and the first as well to offer cardiac catheterization, cardiac and neurosurgery, among a number of advanced medical procedures.
There are 23 wards in Mount Elizabeth to accommodate inpatients. There is a 20 bed intensive care unit too, 13 operating rooms and one delivery suite. There are over 1,200 doctors affiliated to the hospital, 410 of which are in-house doctors.
Mount Elizabeth Hospital is JCI accredited and the first hospital in Asia to be awarded the Asian Management Award.
