After three treatments, 95% of our patients achieve a pregnancy.

We are focused on maternal and fetal well-being, therefore we transfer one or two high quality embryos. Because of this we achieve high success rates with low percentages of multiple order pregnancies, avoiding the risks associated in triplet pregnancies, both for the mother and babies.

In 90% of donor egg cycles, and in 60% of own egg cycles, embryos arrive to blastocyst (day 4/5 of development and transfer). This allows the natural selection process of the embryo to be completed, and the patient receives the embryos most likely to achieve a pregnancy. In about 60% of cycles we are able to freeze remaining embryos: an option for future treatment or expanding the family.

Instituto Bernabeu was founded by doctors since 1985 and since then the direction, management and decision making of the clinic has been developed following medical criteria set out by doctors. Unlike other clinics, which have based their model on shareholder and investor decisions, no medical outsiders have ever been accepted as part of the management board, let alone investors or venture capitalists. This allows us to be free: Patients have the absolute guarantee that the decisions, treatment and medical advice they may receive is not based on financial gain.
