The Columbia Asia Palam Vihar Hospital is a 100-bed inpatient facility with outpatient facilities located in Gurgaon, outside New Delhi, opened in 2008. The hospital is a part of the Columbia Asia hospitals group, which has hospitals across Asia (India, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia.)

Columbia Asia Hospital - Palam Vihar specializes in a large range of medical fields, including neurology, pediatrics, vascular surgery, dermatology and maxillo-facial surgery.

Palam Vihar has 10 in-house and 140 affiliated physicians. Doctors and nurses take part in a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program.

Facilities and Services

The Columbia Asia Palam Vihar has 24-hour emergency services, lab services, radiology and pharmacy services. There are five operating rooms, ambulatory services, labor wards, a dialysis centre, an intensive care unit and a special care baby unit. Additional services include preventive health screening, physiotherapy, and nutrition and diet advice. The Palam Vihar works with fully digitalized medical records.

The cafeteria prepares special order food such as vegetarian, halal, and vegan diets among others. There is an ATM and money exchange on site.

Private rooms are available with a phone and internet connection, air conditioning and centralized medical gas facilities. Four-bed and two-bed rooms are also available. Private nurses are available for patients.

The hospital has a dedicated international patient helpdesk. The helpdesk helps coordinate arrangements with major insurance companies and assists with visa arrangements. Flights, accommodation, transportation from the airport, sightseeing and travel are handled by a concierge help desk/ travel agent. Staff at the hospital also assist visitors with finding accommodation for relatives near the hospital.
