Alexandra Hospital - Overview
Alexandra Hospital is an acute care general hospital offering personalized care to its patients. The hospital’s list of services covers a varied range of specialties, but particularizing in geriatric care and ambulatory services. It also caters to international patients and provides assistance for healthcare, travel and lodging arrangements of a medical tourist. The hospital has a capacity for 400 patients.
Alexandra Hospital started serving in the era of the Second World War. In 2000, the hospital underwent a major upgrading on all its facilities and offered services from becoming a corporation. In 2004, it expanded its services by taking over the regional hospital in Yishun, which changed its name to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in 2007. In 2008, Alexandra Hospital ventures to be a new entity called Alexandra Health. The Jurong Medical Center is a subsidiary of the Alexandra Hospital.
Alexandra Hospital is a member of the National Healthcare Group.
