About	Dr. Harshavardhan K. Hegde is a well-known spine and orthopaedic surgeon with a rich experience of over 20 years in joint arthroplasty surgeries, spinal surgeries, and surgery in trauma cases. He is currently the Medical Director of Nova Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital, New Delhi.
Education	Dr. Hegde completed his MBBS from the Baroda Medical College in Gujarat in 1982 before successfully pursuing MS (Orthopaedics) from the same institute in 1987. He has also been the Spine Fellow at Klinikum Karlsbaad, Germany (2001), Spine Fellow at Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital, Oxford, UK (1996- 97) and Sr. Registrar in Orthopedics at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, UK (1994-96).
Professional Experience	Dr. Hegde has worked with some of India’s most renowned hospital chains and research institutes such as Fortis Hospitals (Delhi and Noida), Apollo Hospitals (Ahmedabad), Max Healthcare (Delhi), Sitaram Bhartiya Institute of Science & Research (Delhi), Artemis (Gurgaon), and Bhailal Amin General Hospital (Baroda). He has also been the Professor and Head of Orthopaedics at the Pramukh Swami Medical College in Gujarat.
