- Consultant and Head of Department, Emergency Medicine.
- His area of expertise include all areas of emergency medicine, critical care medicine and emergency procedures apart from being in charge of the Paramedic and Air Ambulance services at Apollo, Bangalore.
- He is actively involved and is in charge of the Hospital Disaster Management team, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS,) Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS) and Trauma management.
- Having assigned the post of Chief faculty and coordinator in first aid training for Students and Corporate staff, he is now the coordinator for Apollo courses in Cardiac emergencies.
- Heading the Emergency Department he regularly organizes community medical camps and Immunization camps.
- Dr Venkatesh was in-charge of the Emergency Department at Apollo Health City at Hyderabad.
- He is also actively involved in Quality circle initiatives like Healthcare six sigma and 5-S application in healthcare.
- He is part of the JCI team which dedicatedly trains the hospital staff in quality indicators.
- He has been selected as a coordinator for this prestigious membership. He is also the coordinator for DEM and DFM courses at Apollo Hospitals Bangalore, which is running in collaboration with RCGP-UK and also co-ordinator for FICM(Fellowship In Critical Care Medicine) in collabration with Medvarsity.
