- Dr. Adil Sadiq has the distinction of being the only cardiac surgeon in South India trained in Robotic Cardiac surgery, and is one of the very few surgeons in the country with Minimally invasive robotic cardiac experience.
- He has extensive experience in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, including endoscopic approaches and is one of the very few surgeons performing VATS (Video assisted thoracoscopic surgery) in this part of the country.
- He has considerable experience with percutaneous transcatheter aortic valve (valve replacement via the groin), being part of the team that had pioneered its clinical use.
- He has been able to translate his experience of close to 4000 cardiac surgeries and 1500 thoracic procedures behind him, apart from 65 heart and lung transplants, into better results for his patients.
- Although his practice encompasses the entire spectrum of cardiothoracic & vascular surgery, his focus is on minimally invasive cardiac surgeries, total arterial beating heart revascularisation, complex redo- heart surgery, valve repairs and congenital cardiac surgery.
- Dr. Sadiq has numerous publications to his credit in Internationally acclaimed peer-reviewed journals. He has also authored chapters in three international textbooks of cardiac surgery.
