- Her clinical experiences, is a mirror to her active participation in teaching and training skills. This urged her to take up the job as a lecturer. Hence she started her career, as a lecturer in OBG in 1984 at MS Ramaiah Medical College and Bangalore Medical College simultaneously.
- She came to Mysore Medical College and served as an Asst Professor in OBG.
- She taught as an Assistant Professor in Bangalore Medical College.
- She went on to become a Professor in Bangalore Medical College.
- Consultant, Vani Vilas hospital, Bangalore, Sagar Apollo Hospital and KR Hospital.
- Visiting Consultant at Bangalore Hospital, Yellamma Dasappa Hospital, Shanthi Polyclinic and Sri Sathysai General Hospital.
