Dr. Ortiz is a consultant reconstructive and facial plastic surgeon in the department of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery of Hospital Quiron Malaga. He has special interest in reconstructive microsurgery of the head and neck, and has trained in the United States.
Apart form oncologic head and neck surgery, and facial reconstruction following trauma, Dr.Ortiz persues clinical interest in both primary and secondary aesthetic rhinopalsty.
A further speciality of Dr. Ortiz is corrective surgery of the nasal septum in case of deviation.
Such septal surgery can be combined with aesthetic rhinoplasty.
Dr.Ortiz has trained in Sloane Ketering Memorial Hospital in New York, US, and has thereafter been director and head of department of Recosntructive Head and Neck Surgery of University Hospital Eva Peron in Rosario (Argentina).
In Spain, Dr.Ortiz has headed the Marbella High Care Hospital Marbella as medical director for many years before joining the department of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery of Hospital Qurion Malaga as consultant. |
