Dr. Alexander Hamers has clinical interest in reconstructive surgery – especially in complex free flap surgery, as
well as modern techniques bodysculpting in aesthetic surgery like jet stream liposculpture, advanced fat transfer technologies and laser surgery.
After his general surgery training in Lucerne (Switzerland), the biggest non university hospital
in Switzerland, he was trained in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.
First he focused on Hand- and Reconstructive Surgery in Bonn (Germany), where he achieved ample
knowledge in hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery.
After that he got worked in Hattingen, Germany, Campus academic teaching Hospital for the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany). His focus here was body contouring surgery and breast surgery.
His international medical and surgical training lead him through Germany, Switzerland, Spain,
Mexico and Latin America.
He studied at international renowned universities such as University
of Cologne (Germany), Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentine) and the Albert Einstein
College of Medicine, New York City (USA).
