Dr. C.Vikram Belliappa has a keen interest in Hepatobilliary and pancreatic Surgery.He has helped build a composite Hepatobiliary unit at Narayana Hrudayalaya Multispecialty hospital. He has done numerous complex liver resections and pancreatic Surgeries. Special Techniques such as Ultrasound guided liver surgery has helped carry out challenging liver resections. He has used radiofrequency ablation to treat liver tumours in tandem with liver resection. He part of the Liver transplant surgical team in the successful paediatric liver transplant programme at Narayana Hrudayalaya. |

He then completed his fellowship in Hepatobilliary and transplant surgery at Queen Mary's Hospital at the University of Hong Kong. He the pursued his Hepatobiliary training in the university of Milan in Italy where he trained in techniques such as Ultrasound guided liver surgery and Radiofrequency Ablation. |
