After qualifying from Otago Medical School in 1986, Paul Ellis trained in medical oncology with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in New Zealand, then at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London where his MD thesis was on the biological predictors of response to primary chemotherapy.
In 1997, he was appointed Consultant Medical Oncologist at Kings College Hospital, and at Guys and St Thomas' Hospital, where he is currently Head of Medical Oncology. He is also Medical Director of the South East London Cancer Network. He was a special interest in research into novel therapies in breast cancer management and joined The London Breast Clinic team in 2003.
He is a founding partner of The London Oncology Clinic. |
