Dr Alison Jones specialises in medical oncology relating to breast cancer.
After qualifying from Bristol University Medical School in 1980, she specialised in oncology training at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, and conducted her MD Thesis at the Institute of Cancer Research. In 1993, Dr Jones was appointed as Consultant Medical Oncologist/Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Royal Free Hospital and University College London Medical School.
Dr Jones publishes widely on breast cancer, has an active research programme and is a government advisor on issues relating to the treatment of cancer.
She is Chair of both the North London Cancer Network Breast Tumour Board and the Association of Cancer Physicians. |
