Emin Carapeti is Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals.
In addition to his colorectal work he also has a special interest in the treatment of all types of abdominal and groin hernia both simple and complicated. He is a recognised specialist in reconstruction and repair of complex incisional and recurrent ventral hernia and major abdominal wall defects, including component separation and advanced mesh repair techniques for which he has a tertiary referral practice. |

He graduated from Guy’s Hospital, London and undertook his training in London and South East England. |

He is a Member of Council of the Section of Coloproctology of the Royal Society of Medicine, a member of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland and an examiner in surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. |
