Dr. Lodh started his medical career in the department of medicine at Holy Family Hospital in the year 1992 where supervised the ICU for a period of one and a half years.
In the year 1994 he was promoted as the Casualty Medical Officer where he continued his stint as the Head of the Unit.
In the later part of the year he was offered a prestigious post as an Aero Medical Rescue Officer with a leading private sector organization (EWR Delhi) where he developed special skills in high altitude medical rescue and evacuation. During his tenure he has completed innumerable sorties through Fixed Wing aircrafts and Helicopters in the South Asia region. He has traveled to UK, Canada, USA, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Dubai etc during these civilian air rescues. As the Project Medical Officer he successfully supported the prestigious 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Electric Joint Venture Project (between Impregilo Italy and the Continental Foundation India). During this stint he was instrumental in facilitating the functioning of two high altitude field hospitals at Nathpa & Sholding under the Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Electric Power Project at Himachal Pradesh.
In the year 2001 he joined World Health Organization as SMO and worked for two districts of Bihar where he managed to turn around the quality of implementation and reach of the National Polio Immunization Program within a short period of 14 months to standards as per CDC Atlanta & GoI. Most of his program innovations such as Govt.-Public & Technical Support unit interfacing have been duplicated in the rest of the 38 districts of Bihar including MIS methodology, Monitoring protocols, Advocacy and Methods of Inter Agency Liaison with various partner agencies. During this time he added value to the District level Micro planning and validation of service delivery process, Cold chain handling, Equipping & training of service providers including MIS and embedded monitoring systems.
