In 1978 he gave the Swiss Society of Periodontology the specialist in Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry 1994, the company in Switzerland to a specialist in prosthodontics.
From 1982 to 1983 he stayed as a visiting assistant professor at Tulane University (Dept. of Biomaterials) and Louisiana State University (Dept. of Dental Materials) in New Orleans, USA.
From 1982-1988 he was assistant professor and codirector of the Post Graduate Program at the University of Zurich for perio.
Since 1988 he is Professor and Medical Director of the Department of Prosthodontics and since 2005 Dean of Dentistry, Albert-Ludwigs University, Freiburg, Germany.
In 1996 he was a Visiting Clinical Professor at Osaka University (Dept. of Fixed Prosthodontics), Osaka, Japan, operates. Since 2009 he has been Visiting Professor at the University of Pennsylvania (Dept. Preventive and Restorative Sciences), Philadelphia, USA. Since 2010, Sun Yat-sen University, Guanghua School of Stomatology, Guangzhou, China, and King Saud University, School of Dentistry, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. |
