Major Positions Held:
Doctor Ponce was President of the Scientific Committee of the International Meeting of Perinatal Medicine that took place in Panama in 1984. He was also an extraordinary Professor at the University of Guadalajara, in 1985. From 1998 through 2002, he was chief of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department of the Paitilla Medical Center in Panama. |

Doctor Ponce received his medical degree as Medical Surgeon at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, in México, in 1974. In 1979 completed the course of the specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics, at the Number One Gyneco – Obstetrics Hospital of the Mexican Institute of the Social Security in México DF, México. Doctor Ponce has specialized in Diagnostic and Interventional Laparoscopy, Fetal Monitoring and Obstetrics and Gynecologic Ultrasound. |
