Major Positions Held:
Doctor Nevah served as Chief of the Emergency Room of the Manuel Amador Guerrero Hospital in Colón, Panama, from 1977 through 1978. He was also Chief of the General Surgery Department of the Paitilla Medical Center, in Panama, in 1987, from 1990 through 1992, an in 1994. He has also been Assistant Professor of General Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama.

Doctor Nevah received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama in 1972. Attended a course in Colo Rectal Surgery at the Saint Marks Hospital, the General Devon & Exceter Hospital, ant the Birmingham General Hospital, in England, United Kingdom, in 1980. Attended training in Laparoscopic Surgery focused on Colecistectomy, Apendicectomy, Hernia Repair procedures, Biliary Exploration and intestinal resection of the Laparoscopic and Laser Surgery Institute of Miami, in 1991. Completed a course in Advance Trauma Life Support, of the American College of Surgeons and the Gorgas Army Community Hospital, in Panama, in 1991.
Attended a training seminar in laparoscopic surgery for the Colon and the Rectum, of the United States Surgical Corporation, in Chicago, Illinois, in 1993. Attended a training course in Hemorrhoids and Rectal Prolapse, by Ethicon Endosurgery, Inc., in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2005. |
