Major Positions Held:
Doctor Jaén was the Chief of Residents at the Santo Tomás Hospital from 1996 through 1997. From 2004 through 2005 was the Chief of the Cardiovascular Surgery Section.
He is currently an assistant professor in Vascular Surgery at the Latina University in Panama.

Doctor Jaén received his medical diploma from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama in 1990. In 1997, completed a residency in General Surgery at the Santo Tomás Hospital in Panama. In 1997, attended a post graduated course in Nutrition and Metabolic Support at the Santa Fe Foundation in Bogotá, Colombia. In 2001, completed a residency in Cardio Thoracic and vascular peripheral surgery at the Doctor Arnulfo Arias Madrid Metropolitan Complex Hospital of the Caja del Seguro Social. |
