From 1990 through 1991, Doctor Calzada was the chief of Interns at the Manuel Amador Guerrero Hospital Complex in Colón, Panama. From 1996 through 1997, he was the chief of Cardiology residents at the University of Louisville. From 1997
through 1998, he was assistant instructor of Cardiology at the University of Maryland.

From 1999 through 2002, he was an assistant professor of Cardiology at the Latina University in Panama.

Doctor Calzada currently serves as the Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist: Cardiologos Asociados de Panamá.

Education Doctor Calzada received his title with honors from the School of Medicine at The University of Panama in 1989, and had the highest piont average of the graduating class In 1994, he completed an Internal Medicine residency at the Jackson Memorial Hospital of the University of Miami. In 1997, completed a fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. In 1998, completed a fellowship in
Interventional Cardiology at the University of Maryland, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Doctor Calzada has been certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, the Federation Licensing Examination, the American Board of Internal
Medicine, the board of Nuclear Cardiology, and by the American Society of Echocardiography.
Memberships Doctor Calzada is a fellow of the American College of Physicians – American Society of Internal Medicine, a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member of the
