From 1981 through 1983, Doctor Chitrit was the Assistant Professor of Clinical Introduction at the La Salle University in Mexico. From 1992 through 1994, Doctor Chitrit served as a Paramedic Trauma Instructor at the Panamanian Red Cross and also as Surgical Instructor at the University of Panama. In 2000, he was the Medical Director of the San Judas Tadeo Hospital in Panama. |

Doctor Chitrit received his title of Medical Surgeon from the La Salle University, A. C. in Mexico D.F. in 1983. In 1994, finished a residence in General Surgery at the Doctor Arnulfo Arias Madrid Metropolitan Complex Hospital of the Caja del Seguro Social in Panama. Later that year, attended training in Trauma Surgery at the Valle University Hospital in Cali, Colombia, and a Trauma Surgery Training at the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1995, attended a Trauma Surgery Training at the Detroit Receiving Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. In 2002 attended a course in Laparoscopic Surgery for Hernia and Anti Reflux Laparoscopic Surgery course, both in Mexico. In 2004, attended the World course of Laparoscopic Surgery, the international course of Bariatric Laparoscopic Surgery and the international course in Colon Laparoscopic Surgery. In the same year, attended the Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery course at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. |
