Doctor Ureña received his medical diploma from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama in 1994. In 2002 finished his residency in urology at the Doctor Arnulfo Arias Madrid Metropolitan Complex Hospital of the Caja del Seguro Social. Attended a urologic laparoscopy course at the Santa María Clinic, in Santiago de Chile, in 2004. Became a Fellow in Endourology, Laparoscopy and Minimally invasive urologic surgery, at the Department of Urology of the Tulane Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2003. Attended the International Practical Course in endoscopic and laparoscopic urologicsurgery at the Educational Institute of Urology in Valencia, Venezuela, in 2003. In the same year, he received the Surgical Laser Education Certificate Holmium: Yag laser, in New Orleans. |
