Dr. Calvosa graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in México in 1975. He completed his residency, specializing in urology, at the San Juan de Dios Hospital in San José, Costa Rica, after which he completed a fellowship through the World Health Organization at the Urological Clinic at the University of Rome, Italy. Dr. Calvosa has extensive experience in green light laser surgery, penile prosthesis implants, and inflatable and malleable implants for erectile dysfunction. His medical practice also includes urethral slings for female stress urinary incontinence. He is member of the European Urological Association, and Societe Internationale de Urologie. |
