Prof. Gili Kenet is a Pediatric Hematologist, Professor of Hematology at Sackler Medical School, Tel Aviv University. She is Director of the National Hemophilia Center and Institute of Thrombosis & Hemostasis in Chaim Sheba Medical Center.
She is an active member of the World Federation of Hemophilia, Israeli Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology. Prof. Kenet Chairs the Israeli Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, and has chaired the Pediatric and Perinatal Hemostasis Scientific Subcommittee of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH).
Prof. Kenet’s research projects have been focused on neonatal hemostasis, childhood stroke and pediatric thrombophilia as well as clinical research of new therapy modes applied for hemophilia patients.
Our institute offers comprehensive and dedicated services for patients with Hemophilia and bleeding disorders. These include evaluation, treatment and follow up of patients with thrombosis, genetic and acquired thrombophilia and anticoagulant clinics. We serve as a tertiary comprehensive care center, for referral of patients from throughout Israel to our ambulatory clinic and multidisciplinary day care center. We see the coagulation and thrombosis patient at the core of our services and provide comprehensive State of the Art care. This includes individualized management of each patient by our team of outstanding medical, paramedical and psychosocial professionals. We are proud to have a leadership role in promoting novel therapies, cutting edge research and international excellence in all areas of Haemostasis clinical management.
As our center is a leading internationally known Hemophilia Training Center (HTC) we are constantly making attempts to improve patient therapy and quality of life.
