Professor Mordechai (Motti) Gutman MD., is the Director of Surgery Department, Sheba Medical Center. His primary fields of specialization are General Surgery and Surgical oncology, mainly Gastro-intestinal and Breast cancer, melanoma and sarcoma. He has special interest in treatment of peritoneal carcinomatosis (HIPEC). In this field he is a world leader . Professor Mordechai (Motti) Gutman received his MD from Tel Aviv University. He finished residency in general surgery in Tel Aviv medical center (Ichilov) and was the head of the unit for regional chemotherapy and deputy head of the department of surgery. He was the head of a department of surgery in Meir medical center for seven years. Professor Gutman is a Full Professor of surgery at the Sackler School of Medicine, TAU. He heads the steering committee for surgery for “Maccabi Health Services” and is a member of the National Councils for Surgery and Oncology. Prof. Gutman is the Chairman of Israeli Surgical Association since 2013. |
