He received extensive ophthalmic training in the United Kingdom at prestigious centres such as The Royal Victoria Eye Hospital in Bournemouth, the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, the St. Paul's Eye Hospital in Liverpool and The Royal Devon and Exeter Eye Hospital in Exeter. Whilst he was in the United Kingdom, he attained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, U.K. (FRCOphth).
He returned to Malaysia in 1995 and was appointed as Lecturer in Ophthalmology at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, prior to starting his private practice. |
