Mr. Shaun Khoo provides surgical treatment for gallbladder diseases, hernias, excision of subcutaneous lesions, stapler hemorrhoidopexy and chemotherapy port placement. He was appointed Assistant Professor of Surgery in Michigan State University where he was a General and Trauma Surgeon. During his academic practice, he was involved in training surgical residents in laparoscopic surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Mr. Shaun Khoo went on to pursue his subspecialty training in Surgical Oncology in University of Pittsburgh, USA. His particular expertise focuses on the multi-modality treatment and oncological resections of thyroid, breast, soft tissue sarcoma, colon and rectal cancers. This includes neoadjuvant radio-chemotherapy, sentinel node biopsies, nodal basin dissection, laparoscopic resections, intra-operative regional chemo-perfusion and palliative surgery. |
