About	Her main interests are in thyroidology, endocrine hypertension, growth and puberty-related disorders as well as diabetes (especially in fine tuning of diabetic management).
Education	- MBBS(Melbourne), MRCP(UK) - Dr. Lim graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia, in 1997 with honours.
Professional Experience	She subsequently obtained her MRCP (UK) in early 2002 and then joined the Malaysian Ministry of Health Fellowship Training in Endocrinology in 2003. She was gazetted as an Endocrinologist by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia, in February, 2006. She worked as an Endocrine Fellow in the National University Hospital, Singapore, in 2006. She joined Gleneagles Medical Centre, Penang, in 2007 as a locum sessional Consultant Endocrinologist and Physician. She is very involved in many international trials on new diabetic drugs as well as on inhaled insulin. She publishes and presents locally as well as internationally. She is also an honorary tutor, lecturer and examiner for Penang Medical College. She is involved in establishing the diabetes educators' programme in Malaysia as she believes that education is the corner-stone to successful management of patients with diabetes.
