At present, Clinical Head of the Kidney Disease Diagnosis and Prevention Unit of the Fundació Puigvert’s Nephrology Department.
Main areas of work: Responsible for the coordination with the primary care of the hospital's reference territory, teaching program for family doctors, consultant for several teams. She is also part of the team for high blood pressure and kidney damage prevention, being responsible for diabetic kidney disease. Coordinator of the Nephrology department’s care flows.
She received an award for care quality on behalf of the Fundació Avedis Donavenian in 2019, for the Coordinated Care Project between Nephrology and Primary Care specialties.
Member of the Catalan Society of Nephrology, being vice president in 2004-2008 period, the Spanish Society of Nephrology, SEN strategic action group, Catalan Society of Arterial Hypertension, member during 2017-2018 period, the Spanish Society of Arterial Hypertension, the Spanish Club of Nephropathology (reviewer of cases until 2008) and member of the Spanish Group of Diabetic Nephropathy.
Reviewer of some articles for the journal ‘Nefrología’. She has published several articles in different national and international magazines. |
