Dr. Bujons is a Pediatric Urologist Surgeon specialized in the treatment of bladder exstrophy, spina bifida, sexual development anomalies (DSD) and pediatric lithiasis through minimally invasive surgery techniques such as laparoscopy, robotics and endourology with flexible instruments and lasers.
She obtained her degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) and then completed her Urology Residency at Fundació Puigvert. She has a PhD in Sexuality in Spina Bifida from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). In 2008 she joined the Urology Department of Fundació Puigvert where she currently holds the position of Head of the Division of Pediatric Urology.
Dr. Bujons has published many chapters in medical and urology books and more than 40 publications in national and international journals. She has more than 200 papers and several videos on surgical techniques presented in conferences and scientific meetings, some of them awarded, participating as well as guest lecturer in many of them. She has also been involved in the organization of several courses, congresses and scientific meetings and has worked in many research works throughout his career.
She is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and is Professor of the Master in Pediatric Urology at the International University of Andalusia (UNIA).
Dr. Bujons is Fellow of the European Academy of Pediatric Urology (FEAPU), member of the Board of Directors of the Sociedad Iberoamericana de Urología Pediátrica (SIUP) and member of the Educational Committee of the European Society of Pediatric Urology (ESPU) and serves as reviewer for the British Journal of Urology, the Journal of Pediatric Urology, Actas Españolas de Urología and Archivos Españoles de Urología. |
