He is Member of the European Association of Urology, member of the Spanish Association of Urology, 1st vocal during 5 years and active member of the Catalan Society of Urology, accredited as official tutor for Urology residents by the GENERALITAT DE CATALUNYA since June 2007, Member of the videos evaluation committee videos at the LXXII, LXXIII, LXXIV Spanish Congresses of Urology, Jury Member of the ALBARRÁN Award 2008, 2009, Member of the Ethics Committee of the Fundació Puigvert, Member “Académico correspondiente” by award of the Royal Academy of Medicine of Barcelona since 2011, National Coordinator of the Scientific of the Reconstructive Urology Group of the Spanish Association of Urology since 2019 and Scientific Member of the Reconstructive Urology Group of the Spanish Association of Urology since 2014.
He has published more than 100 scientific articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals and 10 book chapters. He has received multiple awards, including: the Professors S. Gil Vernet and J.M. Gil Vernet Vila award by the Royal Academy of Medicine of Barcelona, Barcelona 1986; the ABBOT UROLOGY 93 award, by the National Congress of the Spanish Association of Urology, Sitges 1994; the E. PEREZ CASTRO award by Archivos Españoles de Urología for the article: Laparoscopic Nephrectomy for Live Donnor Trasplant. Two years experience, June 2005; the INVESTIGATION ERNEST LLUCH award conferred by the Agency for Technology Evaluation and Medical Investigation (AATRM) 436/05/2008; the AWARD best Doctorate Thesis of the Catalan Society of Urology 2011 for the work: Effect of anterior urethroplastsy in sexual function and the AWARD FUNDACIÓ PUIGVERT conferred by the Royal Academy of Medicine of Barcelona. 2011. |
