Dr. Urzola is recognized as one of the leading Oral Implantology Specialists in San Jose, Costa Rica and has been invited as a distinguished guest to the 3rd European Implant Direct Symposium in Mallorca, Spain in 2015, the 3rd MIS Global Conference in Barcelona, Spain in 2016, and the BioHorizon Global Symposium in Miami, Florida in 2017.
He is also an owner of a Dental Laboratory with a full-time staff of Dental Technicians and is one of the few laboratories in Costa Rica that is equipped with the Zirkonzahn Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) Milling Machine, the latest in dental technology. |

Dr. Urzola earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2007 from the internationally accredited Universidad Internacional de Las Americas (UIA) in San Jose, Costa Rica. After having gained four years of work experience in his private practice, he pursued a Master’s degree and Graduated with Distinction as an Oral Implantology Specialist (MDS) in 2012 from the prestigious Universidad Andres Bello (UNAB) in Santiago, Chile. |

Dr. Urzola has been an active member of the Costa Rican College of Dental Surgeons for ten years. He is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). |

Awards

Dr. Urzola is a firm proponent of Continuing Education in order to stay abreast in the latest procedural innovations and technological advances in the field of Oral Surgery. Through the years, he has attended programs given by the New York University College of Dentistry internationally and in the United States. He has also returned to Chile several times to attend programs given by the Universidad Andres Bello. |
