Professional Experience

Since 2007 Dra. Virginia Lozano has been working at the Canarian University Hospital at the department of Retinal - Vitreous Diseases and Uveitis. From 2007 to 2010 she undertook various fellowships in the area of Retinology, Uveitis and Ocular Annexes at prestigious hospitals such as: St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, the Moorfield’s Eye Hospital, London and the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen. She became member of the European Board of Ophthalmology in 2009 and was appointed assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the Universidad de La Laguna. Dra. Lozano attended various international postgraduate courses and is author of numerous studies and articles. Since 2015 she has been working at Clinica Mirabell as Head of the Vitreo-Retinal Department. |
